A buddy of mine in the "above 275lb" range purchased a set of 700c wheels for his Trek 7100 from

He had them checked out at a bike shop near him and after some stressing and retensioning put them on his bike. That was 6 months and 1000 miles ago and I have heard him complain a total of 0 times about them.
