Just found the forum & decided to join, hoping to network with some like-minded collectors and riders. I'm a vet of the US Navy, 8 years service. 5 years as a "weather guesser" and 3 years as a combat photog. Vet of OIF I and OIF II.
I've been riding seriously for about 15 years. This year I finally built up my dream road bike. A Columbus SLX frame (Titan Epsilon) from the early '90's and have just about completed it with a full Campy Record grouppo.
I'm quite into the restoration of old English bikes. I've got a 1958 Rudge Sports that is all original aside from the spokes & nipples. That's a constant work in progress but is coming along very nicely.
I'm a daily bike commuter, braving the wild streets of Philadelphia to and from work/school.
I look forward to participating in the forums.
