Muds are great, but that are a real 35mm tire. So, if you are looking for somethign slim... look elsewhere. Another good tire that most in N. America haven't used is the Schwalbe Racing Ralph clincher. It is a little on the big side as well, but not quite as large as a mud. I personally think they do even better than Muds in the muck, escpecially in the corners. They also roll faster on smooth surfaces. Try them out sometime.
