The o-rings are rubbish, did yours snap at the tab? Contact nightrider and ask for a replacement, I'm using just a regular oring I scrounged up.
The standard power lead is just long enough if its stem mounted. I got the helmet mount + extension, which is just long enough to put the battery in jersey back pocket.
