Cinelli Oyster Quill Stem

All -

thanks for taking a moment to read.

In the process of getting an old Fuji back on the road, I acquired & installed a Cinelli Oyster ( quill stem with a hinged clamp for easier bar removal ).

So far, so good; but...I'm getting what seems to be more front end flex than I recall, and I can't tell if its the bars, the stem, or the new fork ( I put a threaded carbon fork on it, too... ).

Any thoughts or comments from other Oyster users?

Thanks for your time,
BDS
