Well....it's all over but the fat lady singing.
LBS guy called back and said Trek was out of stock wheel (built). They only had the rims and he could get the rim and build it up. I thought....not much different than the T520s now.
I told him I would go ahead and get the T520. He told me to order it and get it myself and he'd build/install.
I found a set of them online from Rocky Mountain Cyclery (probably same one you got yours at Jaxgtr). I don't know about a "best offer" deal.....I wonder if I could have gotten them cheaper.
I picked up a set, built with 40h/spokes per wheel for $274 ($304 after shipping).
Now I have TWO T520 40 spoke wheels coming to put on...it may have cost a few, but now I know I'll be on SOLID wheels that will not break.
