I agree that real roller racing is way more fun but you'd get far fewer people racing. Plus Goldsprints are usually held at bars and some of those bars may not be happy with a ton of people bringing their bikes inside and also wouldn't be too happy with the liability issues.
That's awesome that the IROsprints make roller riding more accessible but if you never
start riding on rollers without the lockdown then you won't ever develop those skills--
start in a hallway--its easy it you are cautious about it and
stick your hands out when you start to fall--the IROsprint
thing looks damn fun in any event
