Yes, you certainly can. I have that exact set up on one bike. Campy 10-speed brifters, 9-speed Shimano chain, cassette, crank and rear derailleur and it works very well. However, Ergo and STI levers are shaped quite differently so mixing the two may feel a bit odd.
