I put together my single speed cross bike with cheap Shimano Aero levers, and it was a huge mistake. They're absolutely terrible, completely uncomfortable, I can't ride on the hoods for more than a minute or so without getting pains, much less absorb the shock from a cyclocross course. I have my bike in the stand now, and I'm going to take it apart and replace the levers with Tektros.
In short, there's basically no reason to use anything OTHER than the R200A, unless you're looking for "brifters" or maybe running V-brakes.
