The US/UK exchange rate makes it MORE favourable to sell in the UK. Dahon are now getting about 40% more dollars for UK sales than for US sales for the same bike.

(In other words we are being Royally over-charged here in Blighty).

Fishers seem incapable of managing supply and demand in a timely manner, especially for spares but I suspect at this time of year also for bikes.

Never mind, I am sure you will get the 08 model in about four months or so and with the new Czech distribution centre, you might even get a half decent spares service.

Good dealers to try include CH White & Son, Electric Bikes Direct etc.
