Anything wrong with this eating approach for weight loss?

I was thinking about eating something fairly light for breakfast like wheat toast and eggs. Then throughout the day nothing but vegetables, fruits and nuts. Than a sensible dinner. Laying off all sweets 100% (not that I eat much anyway) I plan on doing 30 minutes of weights 5 days a week, indoor trainer about 3-4 days a week and possibly a decent ride on the weekends if possible. Any drawbacks to this or does it sound like it will work? Thanks!
