Barry and I had a windy little ride down to Annapolis for a quiche and corn chowder on monday. Nearly got blasted off the severn river bridge by the gusts. My new toy, the Trek 1600, was smooth and comfy the whole time. Love it. (too many logos on this bike though. sheesh, Trek/Bontrager needs to calm down with sticking their name on every conceivable inch of bike. I mean, I bought the bike didn't I?)
It was also dark for us when we got back towards town and thankfully, Barry had some spare lights/reflectors for me. The craziest part was coming back into the hornets nest of Ravens fans. I'm still seeing purple camo.
