Oh, that side of the lake. I've ridden there with my husb several times. That is a nice little section of town. Have you ridden around Lake Sammamish? I've wondered how that ride is.
I sure cannot keep an average speed in the 20's no way. Usually I avg around 12 so far. I'm adding some more hill training to my route now. Although I don't know what you veterens call "hills". I've been on a few rides that say "mostly flat with rolling hills" now I know that hills are anything short of the Alps--and "mostly flat" means this side shy of the Rockies.
