How long did the finished one take? I assume that there was some painting involved, as well (although as a lawn decoration it probably didn't require a perfect application).
This really is an interesting way to get rid of some otherwise crappy bits and pieces.

Around ten hours. It was spray primered and then the color was three coats of brushed enamel.
I am going to use the headtube/set and the BB as well, for some bigger projects.
