Introduction from Sudevan

Hello,

I just joined BikeForums after having viewed multiple discussion threads in these forums on several topics of interest to me.

Briefly, I am a university professor ( cognitive psychology & neuroscience ) and bicycle rider. In the last year, I have been collecting bicycles, mostly vintage bikes, primarily Raleighs. I now have a total of seven, including a couple of work-a-day/runabout models. I have also recently been apprenticing myself to a friend who is skilled with bicycle mechanics and I'm happy to say that I built up my first frame last month - a Schwinn Prelude frame with fairly ordinary, mid-level components. I am now working on putting together a much nicer bike: a 1971 Raleigh International with Nervex lugs, using Campagnolo components -- not an exact restoration, but a close approximation. Quite simply, I love bicycles, and I suppose that is the reason I joined this forum. I hope to learn much from all of you.

Sincere regards,

Sudevan
