At your weight, I don't see any issues as long as you stay on top of your spoke tension.

Does anyone see a problem with 28 2 cross in the front? Would that be to weak. I am not trying to save on weight, I honestly think that 28 hole looks better in the front than 32 hole. Knock on wood, have never even had to get my front wheel trued Since I started riding 3,000 miles ago.
