yeah, I rode it a few months ago. with a guide and hired bikes. it was a lot of fun- definitely more fun on a bike than in a car. you drop more than 3500m, so the climate and vegetation and everything change a lot from top to bottom. our guide made point of showing us where trucks (and tourists on bikes) had gone off the edge, but it didn't really seem that dangerous. big consequences if you mess up, but not great odds of messing up. there wasn't a lot of traffic when I rode it, which helped. anyways, good fun, I can recommend a guide if you're thinking of going.
