Leg length and cycling
I'm wondering about the effects of leg length and cycling ability. I know that in the running world, long legs cover more ground than shorter legs which is more efficient and helps taller runners run longer distances. Since cycling uses a crank and wheels I would think that leg length wouldn't matter quite as much as long as the legs are on a properly fit bike. Maybe shorter legs would be better because they dont extend as far to pedal a crank as longer legs do. ALl things being equal (body type, cycling ability, torso size) does leg length predetermine some to be naturally better cyclists?
