I would think if the rotor was not solidly attached to the hub, your
braking would be compromised.
PS: I
have had the MONO MINI's for 4-5 years. Take my advice, carry an
extra brake pad pin. if the clip comes off ( and I've seen it on more than one
bike) you'll be down to one brake!
