OK, a few extra things, some of which you should do anyway....
- Last will & testament.
- Get a safe deposit box, make sure it automatically renews (usually does). Put your important crap in there (e.g. will, jewelry, insurance papers, financial records etc)
- Make sure your executor has a copy of your will, and that you have a will in your SDB.
- Get PrivacyGuard.
- Make sure whoever is handling your mail knows to shred credit card and loan solicitations.
By the way, Alaska to Argentina is apparently a rough trip. 2 of the 3 people I met who were doing that route bailed in Mexico; and the guy who's still going was in the RAF for 15 years. You, uh, sure you wanna take your kids with you?
