For a complete change of topic from snobbery, but still retaining the silliness element, can someone please explain to me why some people will spend the money on purchasing a helmet, not to wear it, but to just tie it to their handlebars? This to me is the height of cycling stupidity. If you're going to spend the money on something, why not at least use it? If you don't want to wear a helmet, why buy one in the first place?
