There seem to be quite a few of us "Valley" people here on BF, but about 100% of the rides occur in the bay. I guess I'll have to be the one to organize some "Valley BF" rides since no one else has risen to take the challenge.
Welcome Murdaki. I live in Elk Grove and work in Sacratomato. I've been back on the bike almost a year too. I joined the Sacramento Oldmen, err I mean Wheelmen back in October.
Most of the members are over 50 but it's a nice tight group of riders. They're starting Monday and Thursday after work training rides next week. I'm going to try doing the Thursdays. They will help you hone your paceline/peleton skills.
