I know what you mean. I almost always regret it when I take some other transit rather than my bike. For example, I bussed downtown to the City Market this afternoon because of 30 mph headwinds. Of course, now that I'm ready to go home the headwind is a tailwind, and I'm facing a 40 minute walk instead of an 8 minute bike ride.
