I think it was a 91,but I've had a crazy time just finding a pic of the dang thing....It was "Bonded" 22.5" tall had strange lookin lugs,a hinge bolt at the top of the seatstays, and was VERY PURPLE!!!! I see that they used a color called "Plum Crazy" in 91. Thanks!!
Fascinating - I was just looking at a Miyata that had a bolt through the top of the seat stays. I thought the welds must have given out and it was repaired that way, but it was very well done. Now that you mention this I'm starting to think maybe the frame was made that way. Was this a common feature on Miyata frames?
