Hybrid seat post suggestions

I have a Trek 7500 hybrid and the seat post angle and seat are killing the center of my ba!!s/t@int. Painful doesn't describe it. I also have a Tarmac roadie with a Toupe 143 saddle, that is way more narrow and 100X more comfortable.

The Trek 7500 is now my knock around bike or grocerstore bike mostly ridden when out with my 4 year old son. But to the point, I cannot get any relief with the seats I've tried. Is there a seat post that can be adjusted forward to give me more of a 90deg rise and take some pressure off the 'tain@t? I've tried different seats etc. Something's gotta give here or my son might not get any siblings..
