Greenfix, I too treasure my son enough not to subject to the horrors of traffic. The trailer handles very well loaded or un-loaded; however, when the little man starts wiggling around it can feel a little squirrly. I think that has a lot to do with the spring between the trailer and the hitch. Most streets that we travel on are residential or have a six foot shoulder. Alone, I'm a bit more daring...
