The tokyo city atlas is super easy to use and it's bilingual.It's published by kodansha.The address system is not so bad once you get used to the concept of it.For example:
Tokyo
Shibuya ku
Jingumae 6-24-4
is
Nr.4 on block 24 in shibuya's 6th jingumae ward
the hardest part is finding the Nr.4,but if it's a buisness there's a sign,if it's someones home call and have them come out side.
All the big roads have signs in Kanji and romanji.
