jumping is hard on bikes. there is no such thing as bomb *proof*. have fun and do what you want to do, but don't cry if something breaks. if you jump, just expect short life out of wheels, hubs, bb's, forks, etc. i know i've broken my share. if you have high end parts, sometimes you can get replacements from the company. mountain cycle and answer have both replaced parts for me for free, no questions asked. if they do ask how it broke, just tell the truth. they don't like it when you say "well, i was just riding along, and..."
