I have not had chance to see a Bike Friday Tikit yet. I have tracked down several dealers and I am getting pretty much the same response from them…. “they are crap”, “have you seen how flimsy they are”, “I wouldn’t ride one myself and we are a dealer for BF” “BF Tikit, yes we have one here, I’m stood by it now and it is a pile of ****” “wouldn’t want to ride one down a kerb” “The BF reps are very pushy”.
Wow! The BF reps must be very pushy. They got these stores to be dealers, and then had all of them dis the Tikit to a potential customer!
I've got a Tikit. It's not the bike I would own if I only owned one bike, and the seat post has some flex, but I certainly wouldn't describe it as flimsy.
