Yeah, mine hurt when I started. I figured out a better positioning where the bike is almost balanced on its own on my shoulder. The frame is almost flat against my back, right elbow crook under the downtube and hand on the left side of handlebar. This is the most comfortable for me and I can carry it on the steep run ups.
Say, got a quick question for you. I use the same method except my saddle keeps on knocking against my helmet. Do you experience that?
