I have an 08 Tourmalet and it shifts just wonderfully, I just adjusted the rear derailleur at around 200 miles in and still shifts wonderfully not grindy or what not. As with any bike, not just a Lemond or anything if it is properly adjusted it will shift nicely regardless of the component group.
