Please tell us your age.

1. What type of bikes do 50+ folks ride?
2. Do you take any special supplements/vitamins/minerals as you have grown older?
3. How much do you feel you have "slowed down" if any?
4. How long have you been biking? New, around a while, biked all your life?
5. What type of biking do you do? Long rides, touring, short rec rides, commute, tour, race?
6. How often do you bike? Your approximate annual mileage?
7. Do you do any other type of physical activities - weight lifting, skiing, running, etc.?
Perhaps you might indicate your age on your reply??
I'm 50.
1. I came on here to get advice on what kind of bike to buy, how to start out, etc.
2. I take fish oil and sometimes a multivit. I follow a natural diet.
3. I had been slowing down dramatically, but since I've been stationary biking, stretching, and resistance training I feel so much better.
4. I rode for years as a child and teen, but haven't been on a bike for about 30 yrs!
5. I plan to start out riding around my neighborhood, then going to some of the local parks. I can definitly ride on trails, and I think some have paved bike trails. Currently I only use a stationary bike.
6. 3-4X/week on stationary. 30 min, not sure of the mileage.
7. Resistance training, limited and yoga stretching.
