I think your biggest problem is going to be the tools you need. All it might need is to twist the fork around and tighten the head set. I guess the front and rear mech are possibly fitted but for shipping purposes, the rear mech might be cabled-up but removed from the chain stay to prevent damage in transit. If you have a reasonable tool kit of conventional items you'll be able to assemble it upto a point but in the absence of any specialist tools necessary you might need to give it to your lbs. I think £20 to assemble it is a bit on the low-side, especially as the mechs will probably need to be setup properly. You might need to see what it looks like out of the box and from there you'll soon see what work/setup is necessary. I might be wrong, but there are few out of the box bikes that are up and running in 5 minutes.
