Think it's just coincidence, or could there be a renewed focus on keeping things moving, now that it's spring and there are more of us on the roads?
fwiw, I didn't notice any particular uptick in police activity on my commute route in Cambridge (Belmont / Fresh Pond > Post Office Square via Mass Ave & the Longfellow) but I certainly did see
a lot more cyclists out on the road today. There was, like, a queue of six riders climbing up the Longfellow when I got there and I'm usually lucky to just see one other rider.
