Yeah, that's a top speed rather than average. It's about 3 miles, and there's only one really good stretch for any speed, so my average speed during this week has been 10.7. I might get out for a longer ride over the weekend and see if I can get a better average. I'm hideously unfit at the moment, but working on it
15 mile first ride? wow - I suspect I could double my current daily distance without too much trouble, but that'd definately kill me at the moment...
The bike's a Cannondale Badboy 700 - bought partly on the recommendation of a friend and partly on the spec. I have to admit that its looks didn't hurt either. I've not taken any pictures yet, but will try and do so this weekend.
