Hi Machete, the 1993 Bridgestone RB-2 was, and is, a nice bike. It was designed by Grant Peterson, who is now at Rivendell Bicycles. The RB-2 was the second best bike in the lineup. $300 sounds a bit pricey to me, but I am a cheapskate! NOS means 'New Old Stock', so the seller is telling you that there have been no, or few upgrades on the original components. Nothing wrong with the components, but many people upgraded them as they had money. I would try bargaining starting at a lower price, starting around $200 or so.

Locks, I don't know locks. My bikes are either not worth locking, or are so valuable that they don't go out of my sight! And, I don't know about GPS/RF tracking systems either.

For locks and GPS stuff (and to answer your general newb questions) try posting some questions in the General Cycling forum.

Welcome to BF!
