Well I might redo the footsies with a non-slip finish to avoid accidents.
Redo the footsies like the Snapdeck and put on that stick-on, non-slip stuff in strips. We use it all the time in the PNW for wood porch stairs so people don't slip in the rain. It's got a gritty surface on it - I hope you know what I mean.
