Why is it that there's never been a thread that started, " There I was on my fancy-ass bike wearing all the Lycra I possess when I was passed & left 'way behind by a guy on a (vintage racer, old road bike, mountain bike, 3 speed, fixie, singlespeed, folding bike, what-have-you) wow I'm humbled & unworthy."?
I've heard all the stories. I've never seen them in real life. Though I did pass a gal on a nice road bike. 300 yards later, I pulled off the trail to catch my breath & celebrate.
