I just got back. Its the best music festival in my neck of the woods by a long shot. It goes on for 4 days and 3 nights. The jams are great. Some really talented folks there. The kids really blow me away with their talent. The last couple of years the mandolin contest has been won by a 15 or 16 year old kid!
North Wilkesboro is 1.5 hrs from the house.
If you really enjoy traditional acoustic music you should try to attend at least once. Lp
