Events in Woodside impacting cycling

This was forwarded to me - it looks like the next couple of weekends there's lots going on in and around Woodside:

Saturday May 3rd: Woodside Rd, between Canada Rd and
Kings Mtn road, is closed from 8:30AM until about
11AM. Parts of the roads back off Albion, Manuella,
Olive Hill will be closed from 8:30 until 9:30AM. Once
re-opened, the area around Woodside School will still
be over run with cars, kids and horses from 11AM until
about 3PM. Cars will park alongside Canada Rd near
Woodside Rd, and the cars/horses/pedestrians/pets will
make that section of road unsafe for the Spectrum Ride
to come through. Best to avoid it altogether.

Sunday, May 4th: Tripp Rd between 8AM and 2PM will be
overrun with little kids, ponys, horses, trailers,
cars parked along the road, and a couple of hundred
pedestrians. Best to avoid it on bikes during that
time. If you do ride it, be very cautious, since a
bike can easily spook a pony from under a 6 year old
girl, and the free runnning horse can do lots of
damage when scared. Horse trailers will be pulling
out, backing up, etc. from the side of an already
narrow road.

Thursday and Friday, May 8 and 9: Woodside Church
holds its spring rummage sale. Woodside Rd between
Roberts Mkt and Albion becomes nearly impassable with
cars parking in all the bike lanes, and overhanging
onto the street. Best to avoid it from 8AM until after
6PM. School traffic merely compounds the gridlock.

Saturday, May 10: Spring Clean Up at Woodside School,
8AM until noon. Woodside School parking lot is closed.
Woodside Rd is backed up with trailers hauling trash
to the be picked up in the school parking lot.

Hope that this helps. Safe rides to all.
