A Blackburn style rack uses 3 legs. 2 are in the same plane, like the Trek rack above, but the rear ones triangulate inwards. This makes the whole structure massively stiff and strong for very little weight. Even my cheap copy of a Blackburn is a good performer.
If you have fenders, then omit the top plate. This is just extra weight and limits the use of bunji chords.
Avoid "features" such as adjustable length legs or fancy storage for a lock underneath.
The only feature which is useful is a mounting plate for a standard LED lamp just under the rear lip.

Those Tubus racks are standard equipment on any European expedition bike, well proven and repairable.
