CYCLING AND THE PSYCHE
A performance enhancement workshop for cyclists

By Dr. Carrie Payne and Steve Quackenbush, Ed.S,
Sport Performance Specialists

Looking to upgrade your racing license?
Looking to conquer your first century?
Looking to put the hammer down on the group ride?

You train the body, but sometimes the mind falls off the back. Your head plays a big role in performance success. This workshop, catered to cyclists, will teach you some of the most important training tools you'll ever need, including:

--Visualization techniques
--Handling pressure
--Keeping focus when you're suffering
--Proper goal-setting
--Positive self-talk
--Sustaining motivation

This is a hard sport. Don't let your mind shut you down before your body does. Carrie and Steve are experts in collegiate sports psychology and most recently have brought the University of Northern Colorado athletes to collegiate-record successes.
