5/6 and 5/7: 30 and 30 in Deer Park in Palatine (or just north of it). I was slowly heading up a hill when my right foot started feeling tightly constricted. Looked down and saw my shoestring was winding up around the pedal, probably just about to take me down. Glad it wasn't 30 seconds earlier on the downhill portion at 28mph, and glad it was the second day so my uphill riding at that point wasn't very fast. Did scare the crap out of me thinking about the possible high speed crash I could have had.
