Arrogance..........I was too lazy to unclip both feet. This is the source of most club tombay entries.

If I have learned anything over the years of falling at 0mph while clipped in it has been to not extend the arm or hand to catch yourself. Remarkably little damage done except a cut to the knee and that was protecting the bike....

Someone above mentioned the danger of riding on mothers day.........and in the afternoon at that. My observation of yesterday was extended families bumbling around in the country. The scary things were the hordes of SUV's parked at the trailhead. Those same PEDs were also "drivers"........OMG.
