That recovery ride to stretch the legs is almost a necessity. Untill you do a bit of spinning- no pressure and no straining- the legs are going to be damaged and stiff. Doesn't have to be along ride- just enough to get the legs turning.

Now I have been reading a lot of articles in mags about the "Repair" of overstressed muscles and Protein is highly recommended. You now have the excuse for taking the wife out and having a good meal as part of your recovery. Steak- Fish- or if a veggie there must be an alternative.
