I guess it would be a little difficult or perilous lane splitting between 2 busses when you are fully laden with panniers etc. I'm only guessing as I'm not a courier, and riding with anything on my bike that will come off if I was to jump really irks me. Part of the appeal for me riding brakeless bmx/FG is the fact that I drop my bike and it makes a dull thud, not things jingle jangle of derailleurs etc.
