People with limited mobility (and often older people too) usually don't want a tadpole trike at all, because it sits too low to the ground to get into and out of easily.

The Sun EZ-3 sits just a bit lower than a regular chair would, although as far as I know the Sun bikes cannot be had with internal gears from the factory. Non-biking people generally prefer internal hubs for their easier shifting (while not moving, mostly).
