Inspired by 10Wheels claim to an $800 bike in another thread!....Mine? My Canondale was $1039 back in 98. MY Lemond in 05 was $1000. Tough being a poor guy!




98 Cannondale- Ultegra equipped but as parts wore, I upgraded from 8 to DA 9-speed. Lots of good deals on parts! Also built my own wheels on the cheap!



05 Tourmalet- Snapped the frame at the BB so Trek replaced the frame and fork with this snazzy 07 Chambery carbon/ aluminum frame. Tourmalet was all aluminum $1000 bike. Chambery is a $2100 carbon/aluminm bike, so I made out bigtime! Also built these wheels too!
