I won't convince you not to, but I will issue a caveat. Make sure to budget the time and money to have them properly tensioned and trued when they arrive. I put less than 50 miles on mine before they got noodly. But after taking them to the LBS, they have been rock-solid perfect for two years of hard commuting.
