If you really want her to ride with you, then quick, ladies saddle and good shorts! If she's a twig, Most PI models should work well. If she's an Athena with some hiney, maybe Terry shorts. My wife loves them. Tried PI's, too thin an not much padding. Terry shorts are thick material and nice padded chamois. Made for women by a woman!. She hopped right on the bike and did 84 miles no issues at all. Think they were about $80 but well well worth it.

She uses a Specialized lady's Dolce gel by Specialized. $50 and well worth it. I sat on it the other day, I just might pick one up for me!

Good job on getting her out there! I bet she likes the barends too, so back off!
